Racers United Attends Last SWRC Race at DKC

September 19, 2011- Dallas, Texas- Racers United Charitable Fund wants to remind racers that it will be conducting a raffle at the final SWRC Race in Caddo Mills, Texas at the new Dallas Karting Complex. During the event (October 1st and 2nd), Cole Glasson Racing will have a representative selling raffle tickets and a drawing will be held on Sunday to announce the winner. Half of the proceeds from the raffle will go to the winner and the other half of the proceeds will go to the local charity Kidd’s Kids, based in Dallas.

The program focuses on terminally ill children with an annual event capping the year off where the kids take a trip of a lifetime to Disney World. The program was founded by Dallas radio personality, Kidd Kraddick. In 2011, the fund has raised $8,000 and has given to several charities throughout the US to include CASA (Child Advocates), United Way, Voices for Children, Pregnancy Resource Center, and Young Life. The fund is managed by Cole Glasson Racing and hopes are to expand its reach further by expanding its presence in other National and Regional series to create a greater opportunity to give back. The target for 2011 is to raise in excess of $20,000 and reach the $100,000 per year mark by 2015.
